I think it was a generic description that no one bothered to change and is technically still accurate. Mine have lasted quite a while in my remote. But since it’s a 4 pack, I ordered another pack a month after 2 of my last 4 went dead. So I guess I got about 11 to 12 months of usage from the first couple and the 2nd pair in the same set are still going strong.
